It was a great evening and I thought it wonderful that we were able to put some of our beer nerd opinions across to brewers who are the most likely in the Irish market to attempt some of the ideas we suggested.

I queried Peter about the used of Galena and other high alpha hops that they use and he suggested it was to do with economy, and added that he would like to bitter entirely with low alpha varities, but this is financially impractical for obvious reasons.

Sounds like I missed a good night-sorry that I couldn't make it. Thanks for the reports and pics though. Hopefully the HopHead will be something we can all taste soon and I'll plan on making the next tour.
