Sounds like it was a good evening. Sorry I missed it now.
TBN, you said in your blog that the cascade gave a somewhat rough bitterness. I've found that too when I used it before. It needs a lot of body to back it up.

The roughness I describe is something I get from a lot of PH beers, so I would say it's more likely to be from the nugget than the cascade. Hop Head definitely does have the body to back this up, though.
