I is a shame the date for this event is so close to the meet at the bull and castle and I will have to choose between one or the other and it is the B & C.

However how about some of us not attending send 1/2 a dozen beers by courier to Killaloe. The homebrew Co. charges €7 I would imagine a one off delivery would be about €10?

This is definitely something I'm going to try to get to. Hopefully will have some beer to bring too, if I get the finger out.

Magnificent idea. I hope every opportunity is taken to get some press coverage of this, beyond the local. It would be great to get a weekend supplement feature in one of the national papers, for example. And speaking of which, Tom Doorley is the only journalist in Ireland I've seen write favourably about beer, so might be a good choice for a judge.

I've not looked at the logistics yet, but I'd hope to make it down for the Saturday. Cycling from Birdhill station might be the most practical option. It doesn't rain in Tipp in July, does it?
