I've only done the minikeg thing once[/url:1i5raifx], and I quite enjoyed it, though I had the advantage of a room cold enough to serve from, a Maßkrug so all the foam wasn't wasted, and time and people enough to drink 5 litres in one session. Probably not your typical set-up, granted.

A good hint is not to cycle to party with it in a bag on your back and then open it, it goes everywhere

myself and a mate bought rebel red in the mini keg from the well last year. i drank it in 2 days and we drank one together in one night. bit flat alright but i have this wonderbar thing the lady bought me for christmas which is a mini fridge with co2 and tap connection to fit a mini keg of any kind. you just remove the top and put in the adaptor and hook up gas and away you go. im testing those mini kegs refilled at the moment so ill post something and pics if it works out. perfect party keg if space is an issue...plus it looks very sweet!

Back to the original topic guys!!!

In the Well last week and expect most of the usual suspects will be there! Alao told that hopefully Whitewater Brewery frrm the north will be there as wwll - a first visit for them. The Well itself had a Dunkel for the Beerfest a few years ago which was superb so this should be an added bonus this year.
