Final Tasting Session 18 years 3 months ago #1

Hi all, i just had a thought.
Barry, if Larkfield breweries are winding up, there must be some stock left over.
If so, what about one last tasting session for Homebrewers up here in B&C ?

Maybe something similar to last time, but with tears

We'll even try some good food along the lines of meat & cheese, for one night.

Anyhoo, let me know if this is plausable and we'll work on it.

If any one has suggestions for the night, please let us know.
Cheers G

I could bring a few bottles of porter.

Hmmmm... <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

There is some stock that I've been trying to drink my way through. Still have some 1783 Revolution Ales (not bad), Bomber IPA (not bad), Kolsch (I don't like it) and Porter (I'd like to bring that with me!).

Are you talking a "formal" arranged tasting night, or more like free-form tasting with people having the odd homebrew between regular pints? (the latter would be easier to arrange, and would suit a mixed-style session, facilitate swapping and that kind of thing).

What day of the week suits you for that type of thing? Would Fridays or Saturdays be ok? I know they're your busier nights, so it may be too much.

I have a mix of brews as well. I'll have an APA too if the meeting is a few weeks away.
