Fell in love with shandon stout last year, was only to be topped by their barrel aged one imo. Ive had 3 pints of it on separate nights in different places in dublin over the last few weeks and it isnt the same at all and not very nice (some strange tang to it).
I might have thought it was just me but my friend expressed the same opinion as me before i mentioned it. He having drank several of them in cork during a visit their a few weeks ago which included a pint in the well itself!
Explantions? Bad batch? New recipe? Damn coors???
