Shandon Stout is back.
I believe there was a bad batch.
I had a pint of it in the Well and it's back on form.

Thats good news. However how will we know when the old batch has been replaced up in dublin? Pubs could still have a few kegs of the bad batch?

Had a few pints of Shandon Stout at Indiependence Festival a few weeks ago. Had a weird, almost chemical aftertaste. Thought it was the plastic pint glass but maybe not. Hope it's just a one off.

Had another pint of it last weekend in Farringtons and it was no better, i remember the first time i tasted it i thought it was lovely, not so anymore( not the worst but not like it was)

From what I've heard it's now being brewed in a MolsonCoors brewery in the UK. Last time I had it it was certainly not up to scratch, thought it tasted pretty bland.
