Anyone know if messrs has got its act together yet? Last couple of times I've been in they've had hardly any of their beers available - is this still the case?

I heard they had outsourced the brewing temporarily. Don't know anything other than that

Essentially they are owned by NAMA and are going to be re-branded (name). Not sure about the brewing side of things though.

As pointed out on Boards, the name has been covered up. May be a dispute with the owners, in the same way as Sheebeen Chic change to the speakeasy.

Is it even correct to still say "Messrs"?

Was by on Saturday and (as mentioned in the boards.ie thread) the place was stripped of all branding - name painted over on the signs and awnings, tap heads replaced with typed up cards reading "Rusty" "Dunkel" "Craft Brew Pale Ale" etc.

The barman was not forthcoming other than to say that there are new owners and a new name is planned.

Anybody know anything more?

@SweetmanWolfe is their twitter address, and their new name. It's run on behalf of Nama by some guys who already have success in the trade and they say they will follow with the Craft Beer end of things. That's all I heard so far.
