off to london in few days where do i need to see in the city?

For serious beer geekage I'd recommend The Rake in Borough, Craft Beer Co. in Clerkenwell or Islington and the Euston Tap at Euston. For more traditional offerings you've the likes of The Harp in Covent Garden, The Jerusalem Tavern in Clerkenwell, owned by St Peter's, and The Royal Oak in Borough which is Harvey's London pub. But London has so much to offer it's a lot easier to start with where you're staying and what you'll be doing, and then build a pub itinerary on that.

I wouldn't be certain about the Jerusalem Tavern being open over the holidays as it's very "city" focussed so if the traders aren't around it mightn't be open.

brewery pub the king william IV that looks promising. I was hopeing to find somthing close to where i am staying as i hate trying to find my way around a strange area with a few beers in me <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

that app is good for when i am in the city thanks. the last time i was in london i kept wandering into the same chain of bars that while nice i could have done with a change.

im going for a assesmnet with london ambulance service so will be taking it easy the first night but am staying for a extra two nights to see the stuff that it would be a pain to see if the family were around.
