Beer map of Ireland 18 years 5 months ago #1

Apropos of the discussion we've had about making a pub guide or similar, I've begun work on an Irish section[/url:1cnvxpxu] on Beermapping.com[/url:1cnvxpxu]. This marks and reviews breweries, brewpubs, bars with good beer, off licences with good beer and homebrew shops.

The admin has decided to put the Northern Irish entries on the Irish map rather than the UK. I pointed out that this makes the most sense from a travellers' point of view, but may be subject to what we Nordies call "a flags issue".

Anyway, let me know if I've got anything wrong and submit stuff you think ought to be there.

(I've already asked for Redmond's to be moved: stupid Google doesn't know the difference between Ranelagh and Ranelagh Road. PH North needs tweaking as well.)

Very nicely done. There are a great many more places of beery interest in Northern Ireland than I realised. Would it be safe to take an Antrim man as a guide on a expedition up that way?

Also you could add the unofficial Bluestack Brewing Company near Letterkenny. I suppose they're not officially brewing yet, but the Donegal/Sligo region looks frightfully barren.

This one[/url:2v1kihnh]? Wouldn't have thought so...

Didn't have him in mind, but I reckon I could talk him round to supping on the Devil's buttermilk.

Are you putting off licences of interest on it too? I've never visited Redmond's, but I assume it is an offie? No?
