Offies don't seem to be listed as a location type.

"Beer Store": fourth one down.

Sorry, I'm trying to juggle doing lab tests while waffling about beer. Something had to give.

This looks very neat. The thread we started compiling of Irish Craft Beer outlets kind of got left on the long finger, so maybe this is the way to go.

A couple of things:
Is it possible to have the Irish section as a link on the ICB homepage?
Should there be, or is there, some sort of moderation of it? You know, to keep it as a good beer guide, and not somewhere to flag places that you got hammered in.

I added a few off licenses and didn't get challenged in any way. It seems that as long as the street address can be found by Google you can post it. Could be open to abuse I suppose.

I definitely think mashing-up this mash-up into ICB would be superb, but that's for All-Mashing Admin to decide. And then do. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

It is totally open to abuse, but I doubt many of the wrong sort would be interested. And we can always appeal if somewhere inappropriate shows up. I think their guideline on bars is very good:

&amp;quot;Beermapping.com&amp;quot;:1o3lrgv4 wrote: If you are submitting a beer bar to our database, please ask yourself if you think it is worthy of a visit by a tourist. If this location only has Bud Light and Coors Light on tap, do you really think someone from out of town is going to be impressed by the selection? We don't have specific guidelines yet, but for the most part, if this Beer Bar does not have some regional beers available, then they probably will not be approved for our database.[/quote:1o3lrgv4]I'd assume the addition of the prefix "beer-" to the word tourist. I wouldn't be inclined to put every Irish pub of interest to tourists on this, only those with an impressive array of beers: the sort you would bring an out-of-town beer-lover to. Same deal with the offies.
