Hi Jacob,
Despite your warnings I went to Warzelnia Piwa in Bydgosczc and you were right, the beer was terrible! I've never tasted anything so badly made! (still drank it though!) Had their honey beer and it tasted like unfermented stout wort, their ale as they called it tasted like really bad and cloudy homebrew from the eighties!
Found a pub called Pub Amore del Tropico (I think?) in Poznan, great pub in a cellar, staff really into their beer. Had a black IPA on draught there which was great, among many others!. Highly recommended, best night of the trip.
Had one beer on the last day in Brovaria Poznan and their honey beer was very good. Nothing spectacular but nice.
Didn't get to Brovarnia in Gdansk, but Gdanski Bowka on the opposite side of the river had some good unpasteurised beer.
The Okocim Wheat beer wasn't bad for a change from the regular stuff.
