Headin off to the Euros in 2 weeks and will be visiting the above cities. Soooo, recommendations anyone?

Looking forward to trying Goze in Leipzig, it's a top-fermented wheat beer, sometimes including oats, with added coriander and salt!

Can't give much advice on the places mentioned but Bamberg in Northern Bavaria is a really really nice spot with some excellent beer and sort of on your way! Home of Schlenkerla and a few other great breweries!
Rauchbier straight from cask! Some breweries (Speizal and Mahr's anyway) do a really nice ungetspundet (unfiltered and unpasteurised hazy lager).

I think Bamberg has the most breweries per capita on the world aswell! It's one of the few places that wasn't touched in the war aswell so has all that old school German charm!

A potential stop off between frankfurt and lepzeig, but might be a bit out of the way!

Bit out of the way for me Slayerking I'd say. We're doing a fair bit of driving as it is already.

I'm going myself and here are a few places I've found.
Am planning to avoid drinking Carlsberg "The offical beer of Euro 2012" at all costs.

I'm from Bydgoszcz and would not recommend that place.
Was really looking for a 'grand opening' of it, but was very disappointed with the quality of the beer :/
Sadly it's not only my opinion. Most of the people I know that been there think the same about this place. Well ... last time was there in March so maybe (hopefully) something improved.

Having said that it's a really nice place and beautifully located <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
