its only about a 5min walk from o connell street so i dont think its the worse location, well definatly good for us northsiders anyway

I dropped by on Friday. Really liked it. Being two pubs knocked into one, it's a big, bright spot, with plenty of seating. No cask yet, but 9 taps. All Irish. Carlow (2), Metalman, Breweyed, Franciscan (2), 8 Degrees (2), and Hooker.

Sitting in Kavenagh's now. Had a nice meal, followed by some Knockmealdown porter. Lovely. Dropped in their Beoir sticker too.

Lots of space, less old-man-ish than Mulligan's. Great bacon blue cheese burger, too.
The plan is to change the bottle selection seasonally, and possibly directly import some thing as well, or so I'm told...
