I like to wind them up a bit when I go in but I am probably making them hate it even more.

Last time i was was in Messers a fella behind the bar ( how has been there for a fair while) was telling a someone at the bar that i don't think they would like the fruity beer because they had too much taste to them.

I nearly fell off the high stool.
A great spot needs a great staff who know and care about what they are talking about.

In terms of the building/premises itself, combined with the location, Messrs is one of my all-time favourite pubs.

If only I owned it or managed it myself, the things I'd do...

Great spot. I've always had nothing but good things to say about Messers. It happens though. A few bad habits slip in and the people who know the place know are the only ones who notice. Messers is one of my go to pubs would hate it to become just another one of those pubs that provide just the minimum service.
