Walked past it yesterday, and it was still looking like work in progress. All hands to the pumps to open at 5 I would say.

Unless you know the secret knock...

after just popping in for 1 tonight i must say im not impressed when i compare it to atg. even though there seems to be more space it is split in two with nearly all the taps situated on the right hand side which makes the bar area very cramped.
personally i dont like the decore at all, doesnt feel cosy, horrible colour scheme and large tables, lights and picture frames make it feel like the dining room of your friends ma's place. very unlike the cosy small tabled, cushy seats of atg.
sorry, people will probably disagree but thats the impression i got tonight, who knows maybe that was just the smell of paint in the air, still great to have a new craft pub there.

also i had a punk ipa on draft which is one of my favourites in bottle but i could only get half way through it, tasted totally different, really bitter

p.s. maybe because i just came from l.mulligans i expected more, now thats the place that has the atmosphere and decore just right

Isn't choice lovely?

I had a great evening and will most definitely be back.

And thanks to KeeganAles for flagging that the recipe of Galway Bay Ale has changed fundamentally. Really impressed with the new one.
