I know of a local retail premises that has been empty for 3 years now because the Estate Agent will not even pass on offers that are below the (Celtic Tiger) asking price.

To make matters worse it's a company trying to sub-let the premises as they're in a long term lease and couldn't make a go of it that the Estate Agent won't pass on the offer to.

You have peaked my interest, can you explain why that is. Just as a matter of fact, I am quite curious as to how it works, seems counter intuitive (as most things seem to be once you look in to them).

No we fought wars for the right to become landlords.
