Have a feeling I saw this bar mentioned here recently, but can't find the post/comment if I did. Perhaps it was on boards.ie
Anyway, in case it wasn't here, it's what used to be Isolde's Tower, across from the Turks Head. Popped in there last night as a bar near to where we were, and less packed and meat-markety than the Turks Head, to go for the one drink. It's now exactly what it says on the tin. A genuine, honest-to-God Czech bar. We were practically the only Irish people in there, and all the beer they serve, in bottle and on draft, is Czech. It's brilliant!
I had a Kozel dark on draft which was very interesting. The website claims it's a hoppy beer, but I didn't really think so. I found it quite sweet and caramel-like.
They also had Staropramen and a couple of other more-or-less familiar names on draft, and Staropramen Garnet in bottles that I'm eager to try.
Anyway, just thought people might like to know. Make a nice little pub crawl with there, the Porterhouse and finishing in the B&C <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="
