You're barred![/quote:zd5bs27s]

Nobody appreciates the good comedy value of the pun anymore.

Yeah, it was upstairs we were. Downstairs was a bit too crowded and noisy, although it was brilliant to find a bar with a dancefloor playing reasonable music.

Oblivious - didn't notice any Baltika porter, but wasn't looking for anything specific. Also felt a bit self-conscious carefully perusing every offering <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

I was in the Czech Inn last night upstairs. I had a half litre of Kozel Dark beer; quite nice though a tad sweet for me. Cost was €4.60. I then had a half litre of Kelt Stout. This was a very interesting one; served from a nitro tap, this was a milk stout in style. It was slightly coffee tasting with a sweet finish suited to it. The cost was only €4.00. It is definitely worth investigating.

PS: the Czechs lost at basketball to the Turks!

I had Kelt 12%(deg) in Bratislava last Christmas. A fine drink. They also had a Kelt dark, which we sampled, but I didn't see any stout. Is it from the same brewer?

I had the Kelt stout while in Prague. I rather enjoyed it, and meant to mention it in my article on Prague, but forgot.
