I want this absolutely clear, i simply saw this through the window when passing by

Hairy Lemon, Belfast Blonde on tap. I'm not going in to check if there is more or a decent bottled selection.

Doyle's, beside Trinity College, have O'Hara's Red on tap as well as the IPA. Presumably the expansion is a good sign!

Perhaps the thread I started on the subject would have been better left to a simple note in this thread, but at any rate... Nancy's Bar in Ardara, Co. Donegal, has bottles of Galway Hooker, 8 Degrees Brewing and Dungarvan Brewing. There may be more but those are the ones I'm sure of.

Up Stepaside way I don't think the app mentions The Box Tree and The Wild Boar. The Wild Boar is a shot at being a 'gastropub' and last time I was there, about two months ago, they had O'Hara's IPA on tap, the full Carlow bottled range and a few others (possibly some of the craft ciders, Dungarvan etc. Sorry, needs a second visit). The Box Tree doesn't list these beers but because they're basically on the other side of the wall from The Wild Boar you are able to order a beer from the bar with your dinner (which I did). The staff there don't seem to be very beer savvy, when I asked what they had they listed the macros but omitted any mention of the Irish craft stock. I had to ask for the 'bottle with the black label that says O'Hara's'. That said, I'm not knocking them. The Box Tree has a bib gourmande (sp?) and it's nice to see another place with a serious reputation for food stock a craft beer or two.

Also, I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but the new Jamie Oliver restaurant in Dundrum had Hop Head on tap the last time I was in there. Totes amazeballs.
