O'Hara's stout has always been very good when I've had it in Anseo, but I guess you've always got the chance of getting a soapy glass or whatever that one occassion.
Helvic Gold is something I've had on cask quite a bit and would be pretty familliar with it versus their bottled offerings. I had a pint of Copper Coast in Against the Grain a few weeks ago, also on cask, and I was kind of baffled: It looked and tasted like Helvic Gold. I thought either the wrong keg was hooked up or else Copper Coast on keg is radically different in colouration and body on keg versus from the bottle. The bartender seemed a bit puzzled by it as well, and a short time later they were telling people the keg was off. Anyone know the score on what might have been going on? It was super-cloudy, even moreso than I would normally expect from Dungarvan in terms of sediment.
