It's not the first time they've claimed to brew their own- they used to pass off Brew No 1 as theirs too. They even went as far as putting a sign saying "Vat Room" or "Brewery" on a broom cupboard door.

I've had their two latest beers though (a lager and a weiss if I remember correctly) and I was not able to identify them as any beers that I had tasted before. Though still no tell-tale smell of a brewery...

I'm sure if they had an actual microbrewery on site they'd have pictures of it on their website.

Could be that they're getting a brewery to brew it for them?

Is it White Gypsy that brews for them? I think it might be. They used to have a decent stout but it's gone (Hasn't been there in about 3 years and i have been there quite a few times). They had a lager and a Bock or something like that the last time I was there....cant recall but It was a while back.

Last I heard (about three years ago) Messrs Maguire were the brewers. It would make sense if it's now White Gypsy.

stayed there a few times over the last few years, there is space for the brewery but I can seek it taking off. Their weiss I though would make a better wit but that could be just me!
