Lovely. Thanks.

Had a Summerfest with my lunch at the Bull & Castle today and recommend it: smooth lager with a Sierra Nevada hops burst.

I had some summer fest in America last summer. Very pleasant indeed. I look forward to trying it again.

My girlfriend ordered a Bigfoot in The Porterhouse a week or two ago. Absolutely fantastic.

The only barley wine I've tried is Young's Old Nick which was a hefty brew, I couldn't decide whether I liked it - I must try Bigfoot.

On the subject of new arrivals I'm currently drinking Rogue American Amber Ale and just finished their Dead Guy Ale - both very nice.

I got had some of the Rogue Amber ale last weekend and really enjoyed it. It was well hopped which is always a winner with me.

Old Nick is wonderful stuff, alright. I prefer it too Big Foot which isn't the same style of barley wine at all. It has something like 80 IBUs and doesn't really have the plum pudding like rich flavours of British barley wines, but it isn't really meant to, I suppose.
