Old Nick is wonderful stuff, alright. I prefer it too Big Foot which isn't the same style of barley wine at all. It has something like 80 IBUs and doesn't really have the plum pudding like rich flavours of British barley wines, but it isn't really meant to, I suppose.[/quote:1ro2cuun]

America barely wines are off the scale in comparison, the beer is on hop and malt steroids <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

The Rogue Amber Ale is amazing, nicely hopped as u said Hendrixcat, nice big bottle, not cheap but come one, its worth it huh? i like Old Nick, its not very similar to the bigfoot, the bigfoot, is definately very heavy but you do have the typical Sierra Nevada hop feel to it, it's well proportioned, you wouldnt think you're drinking a 9.1%...any stout lovers? the Rogue Chocolate is out of this world! heehee
