Ah Crap HC, I was there too - at the big square table top of the stairs with a gang I dragged in from work. Would've been good to meet.

Maybe there could be a 'sign-in' board for ICBers I didn't get any free but I did get away without having to pay any sort of deposit for Kwak glass(dunno if they usually have a deposit, some places do) and I also got the hooker marked down as something else

It's normally €10 depoit for the glass I believe. I think they should opt for the "Leave One Shoe Hanging Behind The Bar" type of depost some bars in Belgium use

I wasn't asked for one either, though it was mentioned. I pointed out that a shoe is the traditional deposit in Belgium.

I got the Hooker marked on my sheet, except I had just completed the Challenge and was drinking it in celebration. D'oh!

Got a reddener in Brussels a few years ago when I asked for a Kwak, and overheard the bar men while they rummaged around under the bar looking for the "verre tourist".

I heard somewhere that it was originally a type of glass used by stagecoachmen - I guess a olden-day cup holder.

I was passing the B&C last night, 50/50 about going in becuase it was getting late. In the event, I was deflected by very loud music. Just not my thing, I'm afraid. Does that happen every night?

Maybe it's just Sundays. I'll definitely try again.
