was there this evening - apparently they had a mishap with the beer lines and it had a wee leek. they were reserving it for ICB members only! 2 more kegs coming in tomorrow they think!
Nice, not as hoppy as Goose Island IPA. Beats Sierra Nevade IPA hands down though. would drink a lot more of it, but i have a beer challenge to finish!
Had my first lambic tonight though - wow. delicious.impossible to describe! Was funny though - had a few colleagues trying Goose Island and they loved it, although they all reported that the barman (can't remember which one) was almost crying as he handed over each bottle, as it was one less for him!

I dropped into the Bull and Castle for the first time on Friday. It's an amazing place and the first of many beer houses for Ireland, I hope. I tucked into 3 pints of Hooker and got a third on the house at the end of the evening when the barman discovered I was ICB material. You guys must have made an impression over the last few weeks. I started the beer challenge and got the barman to wipe Erdinger Weiss off the list in place of the Hooker pale ale.

In fairness, as ICB is fairly young I think it's great to see this kind of dynamic between the consumer and the management of a bar like the B&C. Long may it spread and continue!
