Craft beer/decent pubs in Rome? 18 years 1 month ago #1

Title says it all, really.

Heading to Rome on Saturday for 4 days. Will probably end up sticking with wine, or maybe the occasional Nastro Azzuro, but I couldn't drink a lot of either.

Is there anything I should be looking out for, or that might offer an oasis of tasty beer should the pressure of my friend's company get too much?

Never been myself, but apparently there are some great ones in Trastevere. Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fa'[/url:r9smvvg8] and Bir & Fud[/url:r9smvvg8] are across the street from each other.

Don't miss Baladin Nora if you can get a bottle of it. It's yummy and tastes of aftershave.

Now, see, that would strike me as something of an oxymoron, no?

Considering you described one of our beers as having a carbolic soap flavour, and that you liked it, this doesn't surprise me at all
