Glad that you had a good time there in Vienna. 7stern seemed to be more of a family brewpub with loads of food-I'm not surprised that it closed a bit early. But it sounds like it just gave you an excuse to try other places!

Yeah, the food is great in Salm Brau and I find their beers to be perfectly adequate, but uninspired.

Incidentally that brewpub is the show-piece brewery for their brewery manufacturing business, which is responsible for the kit in most of Vienna's micro's as well as other breweries further afield. They make shiny but expensive brewery installations.
