Greetings from Baltimore Maryland!

Freinds will be visiting Navan this weekend, and I'd like to point them in the right direction. Where would one go to get a good craft beer, or any beer other than Guiness? The store in downtown Navan didn't have much in the way of beer when we were there last summer.

This summer we'll be back visiting for two weeks, probably on Achill Island. Suggestions?

Greetings. I'm not familiar with Navan but the general rule with Ireland is that you're unlikely to find craft beer outside of the cities. Maybe people could correct me on this point but if your friends are in need of craft beer, they should take a trip to Dublin.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If your friends want specific instructions of where to find craft beer in Dublin, let me know.

Achill, by the way, is apparently an absolutely gorgeous part of our country but is not famous for its craft beer.
