What's the range of beers like in the re-opened version? I'm guessing the menu is different too? (Be great if it wasn't, but...)

Menu is a bit more toned down but still similar to before, now includes bar snacks. Beer range is more or less the same minus the cask engines

Beers, food etc? How dos it compare with MK1?

Up in kavanaghs....ghostship, punk IPA, 8degree taps, galway hooker and more..
2 Cask I seen tempted cider and king cormac
Food menu isn't as extensive as before but the had reasonable sides if u just want a snack
Overall a nice open spaced bar with great potential I recommend ugive it a try ..enjoyable

Yes King Cormac only €5.50 and Tempted Cider €5 both on cask. Fair prices too. There's a decent draft selection and a good amount of craft bottles to choose from. New owner seems very nice and friendly to chat with. He told me hes in talks with Saltaire brewery to get their triple chocolate stout on draft for the winter. I really like that stout on bottle and would be very nice to try on draft.
