It's a loss for sure.
The food was excellent, better even than it's sister pub in my opinion, and truly meriting the 'gastro pub' moniker.
As mentioned above the staff were another asset, genuinely interested in providing good service to their customers (still not as common as it should be in Dublin).
We liked it enough that we made the trek up to it. The location was a bit of an issue though, although I accept it wasn't why they closed. I don't mind the distance from the city centre, but after dark the area felt dodgy enough to be off-putting.
