Well All,
I'm heading over to Edinburgh for a week in November and was hoping I could get some craft beer or real ale pub recommendations from your kind selves. Travel isn't an issue so no need to stick to city centre choices!

I'll be heading for Brewdog's pub for certain but that's all I've planned so far.

Also any good food or whiskey establishments I should not leave Edinburgh without visiting?

Cheers

In no particular order:
The Standing Order is a great Wetherspoons pub.
The Bow Bar, also very good at whisky
The Cumberland Arms
The athletic arms 'grave diggers'
The Caley sample room

Thanks,I had entirely forgotten about the possibility of a Wetherspoons and nice to know there is a good one.

I will no doubt check out all these bars as I'll have plenty of time.

Any local brews I should be on the look out for?

The Stewart Brewing stuff is generally pretty good.
