I know a lot of Beoir members are also NHC members so here is a reminder about the forth comming NHC competion to be held in March. Entries must be received by February 15th 2013, but we are organising regional pick-ups.

Tried to register with that website but on each of the several occassions Ive tried, it tells me that the verification code is wrong. <!-- s:evil: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" alt="" title="Evil or Very Mad" /><!-- s:evil: -->

We employ two anti-spam/anti-bot measures that sometimes catch real people out. (It caught me out)

The first is the captcha. It says
DO NOT ENTER THE FIRST FOUR CHARACTERS

So it will look like BEER26fa

It is no co-incidence that the first four characters always spell BEER. In this example therefore you would enter 26fa

The second measure is the verification email. This always gets sent out. If you think you didn't receive it it's in your spam folder. If it's not in your spam folder it's because you possibly gave the wrong email address or your email provider employs an overly enthusiastic spam filter.
