Nancy Blakes on Denmark St. are having their annual Oktober Fest on Saturday October 25. This event gets better every year.

Good selection of beers available, Irish, English, French, Belgian, German.BBQ also.
Tokens for beers available on the day.

Great day at Nancy Blakes yesterday, thanks to Donal and his staff.

Irish beers and ciders on offer were

Bru
Whitehag
Blacks
St.Mels
Franciscan Well
Jack Coady
McIvors

There was also a debut for a new local brewery called Treaty City who produced rather tasty 5% IPA called Harris. This sold out in no time. Looking forward to next year already.

If you're into home brewing there's increased interest in Limerick recently with a meet on the horizon too...
My interest is that I'm from Clare originally and tried kicking off something in Limerick but it just didn't happen.
