2 Gallon pressure barrels from H & G 19 years 1 month ago #1

I heard that Hop and Grape will shortly be getting some of these very elusive mini pressure barrels in soon. They are dead handy for those of us who are still bottling and pressure kegging because a small portion can be kegged while the rest is bottled. I haven't kegged anything in years so look forward to getting some of these. They'll be handy til I get around to investing in some cornies.

Just saw this now. What kind of size are they? Are they those 5l kegs you sometimes get in the supermarket?

No. They are exactly like a mini version of those basic pressure barrels. They hold 10 litres.

They are listed here: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.hopshopuk.com/cgi-bin/browse-no-fram...=item&item=eq037">www.hopshopuk.com/cgi-bin/browse ... item=eq037

Ahaa, ok.

To be honest, after seeing your Corny setup nothing less will do me now <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Yep. You can't beat cornys.

Hop & Grape also do a 2 gal (11 litre) corny for £39 [url:8xjy8zmb]http://tinyurl.com/2ysl3[/url:8xjy8zmb] Not only is this a much better price than I was able to find for this rather rare size of corny from any of the US suppliers, but the H&G one is [i:8xjy8zmb]new[/i:8xjy8zmb]. I bought one a few months ago and am considering getting a second one...
