You can also use our lost breweries map as a source of where to find some. I know I'll be taking photos when I'm in the southwest next week (at least the old Deasy's brewery in Clonakilty).

I came across this 1936 newspaper article detailing a fatal workplace article at the old Cairnes Brewery in Drogheda. Looks like the fundamentals of brewing haven't changed much. Hope the link works out.

I'd forgotten about this post. I have some photos of Deasy's brewery in Clonakilty I took last month, if you'd like them. Nice building, actually.
