Drinkstore have a case of 24 bottles of Down 'N' Outz for €20. It's a rebadge of Porterhouse's Heersbrucker.

For lager drinkers, Galway Hooker. I've recently started selling it at work as an alternative to Heineken/shit lager and most of the time it goes down well (snarf snarf). You can get some quality lagers in just incase but imo, if you can convert them to pale ale (which isn't a million miles from lager) they'll never turn back. Get a case of Flensburger Pilsner in for the die hards and at least you'll have a nice box of swing tops by the end of the day.

For ales I'd get a nice selection, go for some Dungarvan, some O'Hara's, a few Whitewaters. Dungarvan's stout imo is one of the best sessionable ones out there but the yeast sediment may put people off so throw in some O'Hara's too. You can save on the O'Hara's by getting it in Aldi too.

Also what time should we all aim to arrive for??

It's not the same though. And you don't want to get a reputation as someone who buys their shopping at Aldi...

Seamus always claimed it was(the red and stout anyway). Side by side tasting may be in order. Either way the red and stout are both fine beers. The pale ale I need to try again.

The trick is to get him drunk and then ask the same question again...
