Beers for Communions! 12 years 11 months ago #13

I bottled it and bought a case of Carlsberg in the end and 24 bottles of Magners bought in the North.

They drank on me;
20 Litres of Dry stout served on Nitro
15 Litres of Boston lager clone
10 Litres of Stella Clone
10 Litres of Kolsch
20 Litres of my own carbonated cider, backsweetened slightly.

They left behind a case of Carlsberg and 24 bottles of Magners!
I'm well chuffed.

Ciderhead, I know it's off topic BUT how did you back sweeten your cider? The stuff u gave me is still sitting in the shed in bulk. It pains me to add sh1t like candarell to my beautiful craft cider and I'm afraid of doing the stovetop pasturisation on hbt. What did you do?

Sorbitol, didn't take much.
One of the girlies said it was still too dry so I gave her a jug of apple juice and she found "bulmers" by adding in 25% lidless apple juice which was ok as it was 6.4% to start with and she still got there!

Thanks CH! In what form is the sorbitol? What name is it sold under and where?
I'm NOT trying to find Bulmers:)

HBC sell it, with any cider manipulation, please do in small doses first before you adjust and potentially mess up an entire batch!
