hay guys

i have been looking for but can not find any real info on what is needed to brew commercially in ireland let it be for just small regional sale ,
can anyone shine some light on this for me

You need a beer manufacturer's licence, from the Revenue Commissioners.

do your local council have to grant you a brewing licence also??

No, the only licence comes from Revenue. But you'll be running a food business like any other, so there'll be environmental health, zoning, waste management and all the usual issues you have to deal with via the council.

As long as you've complied with the conditions of your licence: Revenue usually want you to have a bond in place, arranged through your bank.
