This is available in Harvey Norman at the moment. It would be a great way of storing and dispensing form the minikegs we have debated the value of

Oooh! Swish!

Something that attractive looking would be much easier to persuade the lady in ones life to accept than most dispensing solutions. Makes those mini kegs like a seem like a much better option with a device like that available for them.

What kind of price are we talking?

It's about 120 quid and of 'limited quantity'. The only problem is figuring out the practicality of the kegs for us homebrewers.

Well, people do use them, so they can't be that bad.

The biggest drawback seems to be that you have to be more careful with them when you prime, as it is possible to damage them with too much pressure and you can't use the harsh chemicals some of us are fond of.

If you don't mind carefully measuring your priming sugar and you are willing to use iodine or oxygen based preparations to sanitise, then I don't see too much of a problem. Some people do swear by them.

I'm not about to sell of my cornies and start using minikegs, but for some people they are probably a good fit.

Isn't it the same as the Perfect Draft[/url:uc5213wy] that was released a few years ago by Philips ?

And it's said that it takes kegs with integrated draught... How do you implement this in a homebrew ?

The kegs for that look different and it mentions that they are 6l not 5l.
