For more traditional offerings you've got the Museum Tavern opposite the front of the British Museum, or if you go just past Great Ormond Street Hospital and turn right into Guilford Place there's The Lamb, one of Young's flagship pubs.

Beer Nut is that the same Lamb on Lambs Conduit St?
