Any decent pubs near russell square in london? (I think the tube stop is also called russell square or somethign similar)

I'm flying over late this evening and would like a pint! (I know it's early in the day to be thinking about pints!)

The Euston Tap is at the top of street if you want to geek out. For more traditional offerings you've got the Museum Tavern opposite the front of the British Museum, or if you go just past Great Ormond Street Hospital and turn right into Guilford Place there's The Lamb, one of Young's flagship pubs.

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.youngs.co.uk/pub-detail.asp?PubID=421">www.youngs.co.uk/pub-detail.asp?PubID=421 Haven't been in for years, lovely old pub comlete with original snob screens.

Craft Beer Co. on Leather Lane isn't too far away <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="thecraftbeerco.com/location/clerkenwell-london/">thecraftbeerco.com/location/clerkenwell-london/

The Jerusalem Tavern run by St.Peters is also very near by.
