anyone know if its any good and do those mini keg thingsy produce anything but foam ?

DAB is a decent lager, the minikegs are fine as long as you chill them well in advance.

I've never tasted DAB but it's the main commercial brand for its style. Mini kegs I think kepp the beer fairly fresh. as close as you will get to a draft. takes 2 or 3 pints for the foam to stop.

Just on the subject of Aldi; last week thay had Schoferhoffer weizen at €1.79 for der halbe litre. It is currently €2.79 in O'Briens of Donnybrook!
