I'm not gonna beat around the bush here, just some shameless self promotion!

Started this beer blog back in April, still trying to steer it in the right direction. Would appreciate it if people gave it a look and maybe some feedback, cheers lads.

Just looked at blog very briefly. Looks good - Will have a good read when I have some spare time(otherwise known as tomorrow in work). I know a few people on here have blogs (just started one myself a few weeks back) and have thought it would be great if everyone reviewed same beer every week (or two). It could be a great way to help people learn and hone the pallet.

Thanks for link - keep up the good work.

I haven't read the blog since about 2 months ago, but it's some good writing!

Good idea stitch about the everyone drinking the same beer thing! It always helps when beer tasting to have others
who are trying the same beer at the same time to share notes etc.

Beer of the week sounds good.

Various beers are nominated, one is picked for each week, sampled, notes taken, we all report back.

Instead of 'The dog ate my homework' its now 'I drank a a (brew)dog for homework'!

For the new bloggers, The first Friday of every month is beer blogging Friday, or The Session.[/url:24v5jn83]

All you do is take a look at the topic and who hosts it, keep an eye out for their announcement on what's expected and then go write a blog post under those guidelines. Or just ignore them and do something completely different, as long as the topic title is mentioned.

Then you post a link to your post on their blog, either the announcement or their own session post.

You can also volunteer to host a session where you pick the topic.
Not only is it good fun, it can also increase traffic to your blog, especially when hosting.

It was not that long ago there were only a few Irish beer bloggers. Nice to see more appearing.

Also, include your blog details on the beer bloggers conference[/url:24v5jn83] site. Ireland needs more representation on the list.

Cheers lads. Yeah I've yet to involve myself in The Session, but I reckon I'll give it a go next month. I also like the sound of a 'Beer of he Week' feature. It would do the same job as the Session but on a smaller, simpler scale. I've noticed looking through some of the past Sessions that topics can be pretty far-reaching. Of course, it's not like you have to stick to the title religiously, but it would be nice to simply talk about a particular beer and compare notes and such.
