Hi,

I called into Sweeney's off licence last night and they had a few bottles of White Shield.

Yes, the Bengal Lancer is very close.

It was nice, I enjoyed it.
It was no Juipur though.

Sure, but it uses all US hops - I wouldn't really call it an "English IPA" like the other two.
Hardly fair on poor White Shield and Bengal Lancer to go up against Ahtanum, Centennial, Chinook, and Warrior.

Got a bottle of the Red Shield in Devaney's in Dundrum a few weeks ago, can't remember if they had the white one.
