I was in the Gresham hotel over the weekend having a drink with some family. They had the usual Guinness Heineken Carlsberg Smithwicks etc. So I said i'd have a Guinness. I have to say it was the worst pint of the black stuff i've had in a long time. No care taken when pouring, it lost its head in a few mins and tasted crap. So then I had a smithwicks. It looked like a pint of red lemonade, big bubbles and no head. I took it back and got bottled beer instead. You would imagine a hotel like that would be able to serve a half decent pint especially at 5.70 a pop.
Maybe my standards are too high from drinking craft beer most of the time? :-/
