I was wondering if Mr Beer would ever make it over here, looks like it has.

Some one gave one of these to me before. I gave the ingredients away, and was going to use the keg to serve from the fridge. It comes in two main parts, and seals together in the middle, but I couldn't get it to seal. I threw it in the recycling, as I already have too much crap in my garage. Others might have better luck with it, but I can think of better ways to spend nearly €100.

Bringing back the nightmares, I bought one of these probably 5ish years ago and it didn't ferment or carbonate, to be honest I don't know what exactly went wrong but it was enough to make me give up for 2 years before I started brewing again. And it made me think little of kits, which is harsh judging by a few I've had at home brew meetups.

For €100 I'm sure you'll get a better kit from one of the homebrewing suppliers.

Or if you're throwing away your money on a fancy all in one, fermenter/draft why not go properly crazy: [url:3fensxbl]http://www.williamswarn.com/[/url:3fensxbl]

I still have one, but haven't used it for a long time. As someone else upthread pointed out, it's a nightmare to get the too halves to seal together properly. On top of that I found that the seal for the CO2 bulb was useless- you had to put a new bulb in every time you wanted to dispense. Worse was all the beer mixes had the same chemical taste (I want to say dextrose) no matter what style it mix was supposed to be.

I gave IrishPartyAle here one of the mixes to see if he could do any better. The results weren't particularly impressive.

Finally, I did try to use the vessel as a secondary fermenter but the seal issues (see above) thwarted that plan.
