House alarm installer?

Long shot, but I don't suppose anyone here is an alarm installer? I replaced the battery in my alarm, it tells me that it's been tampered with (duh of course it was - by ME!) and am looking to clear the tamper setting but meeting with silence. Anyone with the ability to get/give me the info would be well appreciated.

Ken,
There's a small spring loaded switch in the box where you replaced the battery. Make sure its pushed all the way in before you replace the cover and that its making contact with the lid. You should be able to clear the tamper error then.

thanks, i knew about the spring, but holding it in didn't help. solved it by taping the spring down, put the cover on it and then heard the tape release the spring. sorted...
