Hi,

My work is sending me to London for a meeting at the Victoria and Alber Museum. Does anyone know of a good place to pick up a few bottles of beer in that area?

Well, if you're flying hand-luggage only you can't bring anything back with you.

If you're bringing checked-in bags and are staying longer, you might be able to make the journey to Utobeer in Borough Market. Nearer the V&A there's House of Fraser (FKA Army & Navy) at 101 Victoria Street, though it's still a bit of a walk.

And of course any damn Tesco or Oddbins in the UK will have a better selection than even the most specialised beer off licences in Ireland.

You beat me to it with the Utobeer suggestion, BeerNut!
At the Borough Market, just south of London Bridge;

Well, a 15-20 minute walk westbound or a short hop on a 74 bus will take you to a Sainsburys superstore with an excellent selection of beers. Watch out for the Meantime IPA in 750ml bottles, and their porter too. Mmmmm....
