I really don't feel Guinness could be called responsible for the lack of such choice, I think Irish people are generally very conservative when it comes to things like this, and they choose to drink whats always been around, and why shouldn't Guinness capitalise on this?! We all have to remember that as much of a pain in the neck it is to walk in to a local and see the same bland beers, it isnt going to change unless people want it to change. They arent going to cater for a select group of individuals, and whatever way you look at it, we are a select group of individuals

I don't want to make out like i am defending Guinness, because I would happily take an O'Hara's over a guinness in a heartbeat, Guinness is average at best, but people to change, the advertisers are not going to

I'll open a bottle of the Extra Stout then. Will be trying to brew an oatmeal stout in the next few weeks.
