As November looms I’m packing up my bags and heading for South Africa to take part in the Nial Mellon Township project.[/url:2acpso0f] I have never visited before and know little about the place other than the usual headline grabbing stuff on the news. It will be interesting to see what I understand is a beautiful country, but of course not without problems.
After doing my week in the Township I have 2 weeks to look round. In true beer geek style I have been doing my research
It seems things there are very similar to here with one big brewer dominating South African Breweries (SAB) however I did find worthogbrewers[/url:2acpso0f]
Through them I contacted Richard, a Cape Town home brewer who has kindly pointed out all the best spots to get a good beer. He has also kindly offered to meet up and exchange beer stories while sampling some of his beer. (How could I refuse)
